Amphora has just reached the 1,000 subscribers milestone.
Thank you for reading our work, and for sharing it far and wide.
This publication has brought forward quite a lot of relevant and unique content over the past year, some of which I am told is being read in very interesting influential circles. Your support has been invaluable in that regard.
I would like to thank a few people here.
- , who was a very early supporter and who first began sharing the Charles de Gaulle compilations on his own substack .
- who I’m honored to call a friend, he has never stopped sharing and encouraging the content produced here, and generously allowed us to provide some references to his recent series on African decolonization which you can find on his own .
A friend that cannot be named, who has provided us with a plethora of Schmitt translations which remain invaluable.
My friend
who has recently chosen to publish an excellent essay on Schmitt here, and previously provided us with very important material. You can find more of his work on .My friend
who has also been crucial in propagating the ideas presented here. You can find his witty and mystical productions at .Many more friends, who need not be named. I thank you all for your support, your help, your faith, and your loyalty.
What can you expect in the future? First and foremost, more interesting translations of primary sources on General de Gaulle. Then, I aim to continue the translation of Napoleon’s memoirs, which I consider to be the most important work here although it will be slow.
We also want to expand into more than simple translations of historical texts. There is a great need to bring to light all sorts of interesting innovative businesses around Europe, and we will try to do our part. If you own such a company, or are part of one, and are able to talk about it here please send us an e-mail. We are thinking specifically of highly specialized industrial fields, but not limited to it.
And finally, we will continue to publish the works of like-minded friends. If you think your work would fit here, please contact us.
Thank you again.
